Story

Conceived by Yuri Demeyer, Crazy Monday Gin is both curious and subtle in its long finish and the story behind it. Yuri shares his great passion for gin and all that surrounds it through his product. From this passion was born the idea of creating his own gin; what started as an idea ended up as a beautiful result.Crazy Monday is a reference to the Zotte Maandag evening.

It was born on a Monday, the fruit of a crazy idea that matured for years. No one knows who created it. Except for one man: the Jester of Pittem, an eccentric folk character, dressed in a jester's costume and bonnet, who took advantage of the cloak of night to stir up trouble in the Pittem region. It was at the counter of the gin bar Le Dimanche, in the early hours of a Monday, that he caught wind of his existence. Pure madness!

Today, his mask adorns every bottle, and his madness is reflected in the beverage's name. He was the first of many to taste this gin. Each sip was as unique as the bottle from which it came. It was "Crazy Monday", his day to shine.
